OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, OCTOBER 21, 2003:

LINDA PEKSENAK (nee Yaselsky) Age 56, of Gary, passed away October 19, 2003 at home. She attended Hobart High School, Class of 1965, and she worked at the Shift Change, known as "The Cook".

She was a loving mother, and will be missed by her sons, David (Rhonda) Peksenak of Portage and Andrew Peksenak of Gary; daughters, Dana (David) Trail of Gary and Lissa Peksenak of Gary; grandchildlren, Kyle and Katie Peksenak and Tiffany, Brittany, and Whitney; and great grandchild, Evan; brother, Peter Yaselsky of Crosn Point; sisters, Karen St. Germaine of FL. and Michelle Ward of IL; and step mother, Gene Yaselsky of Hobart; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Yaselsky and Coral Belcher Lawrence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 11:00 AM the the Christopher Funeral Home, 1307 Central Ave, Lake Station with Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday 2-9 P.M. at the Christopher Funeral Home 219-962-4115.
