Roberta Bielak-Wiberg age 63, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 3, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 17 years, John B. Wiberg Sr.; children: Robert Berry, Lisa Schouten, Melissa Warrick, John B. Wiberg Jr. and Jennifer Darda; 13 grandchildren; siblings: Carol Kanopacki, Henry Piaski and Ray Piaski; brother-in-law, Robert (Deborah) Wiberg; sisters-in- law: Sharon Hatton and Patricia Koepl; and many numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Jessie Piaski; brothers-in-law: Howard Hatton and Mike Koepl. Roberta was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Merrillville Christian Church. Roberta retired from Republic Steel as a crane operator. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed attending flea markets. Above all she loved spending time with her family. Bert and Mike fought together courageously against cancer. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
