Pamela Sandala (Wells) - Class Of 1965 VIEW PROFILE

INFORMATION FROM PAM'S SON, JOE WELLS:

After a long battle with breast cancer, my mother, Pamela Sandala Wells passed away last week. She worked at the Jr. High/Middle School and ran the concession stands for the HHS sports programs for 25 years. She was also a regular at the youth sports programs with her three 'Wells Boys' and the 'Wells Boys v2.0' (grandkids).

She was a Hobart Lady through and through,

Memorial Visitation will be on January 10th, from noon until 5 with a brief service following at Kraft Funeral Services on County Line Road in Hobart.

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, JANUARY 8, 2015:

Pamela Wells age 67 of Hobart passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2014. Pam worked for the School City of Hobart in the Attendance Office for many years.

Pam is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Wells; and three sons: Joseph (Michelle) Wells, Stephen (Jennifer) Wells and Christopher (Sara) Wells; her mother, Marion Sandala; and three siblings: Phyllis Huffman, Kenneth (Halerie) Sandala and Geoffrey (Vickie) Sandala; six loving grandchildren: Zach, Amanda, Christian, Jonah, Micah, and Samuel; plus many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael Sandala. Pam was a member of the Good Sam's Club and St. Stephens Episcopal Church.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. from KRAFT FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 370 N. County, Line Road, Hobart, with Rev. John Blakslee officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m at the funeral home. 219-942-9866. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for Pamela's grandsons education.

Donna Wood (Gietl) (1965)

I was so sorry to learn of Pam's passing.  I remember her infectious smile and her kind spirit.  She was a wonderful part of my high school memories--a wonderful dry wit and sense of humor.  Rest in peace, Pam.  Donna (Wood) Gietl

Elaine Kennedy (No Married Name) (1965)

Pam was an inspiration to us all,, She shared her journey with us on FB until she couldn't.. Having lost two sisters to cancer,, I know Pam is in a better place, and she is now able to rest in peace,

Barbara Phillips (Rowley) (1965)

Pam was a very strong willed person and she gave cancer a big fight with such a positive attitude which I believe gave her more time on this earth, Rest in peace Pam

Sherry Oswald (Peterson) (1965)

Pam was such a fighter.  She taught us all a lesson in survival.  RIP.
