Age 50, of Chandler, Ok formerly a lifetime Hobart resident, passed away Saturday Sept 11, 1993 in Chandler, Ok. Larry was a 1961 graduate of Hobart High School, he was a dog groomer for a veterinarian in Chandler and was formerly associated with the Land of Woz Pet Store in Hobart. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Hobart. He was very active with dog breeding and showing of Basenjis and Boston Terriers in the Lake County area and also in Ok. He was formerly a member of the Lake Shore Kennel Club. He was preceded in death by his father Curtis M. Brown in 1984. survived by; mother, Ruth E. Brown of Hobart; 2 sisters, Cecelia (Robert) Wozniak of Hobart, and Chichi Janet (Don) Allen of Raleigh, NC.; brother, Malcom (Diana) of Portage; aunt, Charlotte (Graham) Cross of Portage; 4 nephews; one niece. Funeral services Thursday Sept 16, 1993 at 10 a.m. in the Burns Funeral Home, Hobart. Rev William Kaster officiating. Internment Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Larry G. Brown Memorial Fund through Burns Funeral Home.
