Further Information:               

After college Bob changed his last name to Blair. At Hobart High School, Bob played on the football and baseball teams. At Indiana University, Bloomington, Bob was a member of the baseball team and president of his fraternity, Kappa Sigma. Representing Kappa Sigma, Bob rode for 3 years in the Little 500. Upon graduation, he worked for the Chicago Tribune and made the move to New York with the paper. Bob began a long career in advertising where he met his wife. In the 1990’s, he left advertising and joined the Houston Astros as their scout on the East coast, living out his dream to be involved in baseball. Every Spring meant a highly anticipated trip to Florida for amateur baseball! After his years as a scout, Bob returned to the newspaper business and enjoying the beaches with his wife near their home on Long Island.
