Was graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary, Johnson City, NY, in 1957; left for East Pakistan to do missionary work. Home in 1965, married in 1966, returned to E. Pakistan where both sons were born. Continued until civil war broke out in 1971and were evacuated in a very dangerous situation. Name changed to Bangladesh. Our daughter was born in NY. Returned to work there but left in 1974 when Willard contracted viral meningitis and daughter was ill. Returned to USA, moved to FL, started 3 churches: Winter Haven, Fort Myers and Summerfield. Now Willard is with the Lord, 1/18/18 at 87. Sons are in GA (Delta Airlines) and Honduras - missionary; daughter in WI.

My sister, Shirley, and I were in the same grade as well as LuEllen Ahlgrim (cousin) and Janet Heller who was born the SAME DAY as me. Our father could not bear the cold Hobart winters so we moved to CA, LA, AL or TN for the cold months. It wreaked havoc with our HHS required subjects, but they weren't interested in LA history!! When we returned in the spring, our classmates and friends would say, "Oh, here come the Ahlgrim sisters AGAIN!" We were only at HHS completely for our senior year!!
We were always thankful for good old HHS and thought no OTHER school could compete!!
