THOMAS JOHN MACHIN Merrillville, Indiana Age 75 passed away at St. Anthony In-Patient Hospice, Crown Point, Monday, January 21, 2008. Thomas was retired from the Coke Plant at U.S. Steel. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was an avid history buff.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marian Machin and sister, Jackie. Mr. Machin is survived by his wife, Nancy of Merrillville; three children, Lawrence Machin of Laporte, Mark (Tina Fletcher) Machin of Merrillville, Kelley (Ian) Lindsay of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Steven Machin and Eleanor Lindsay.

Funeral services Thursday, January 24, 2008, 11 a.m. at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, Rev. Jere Gowin officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends may visit with the family at Geisen Funeral Home, Merrillville, Wednesday, January 23rd from 2 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony In-Patients Hospice, 203 Franciscan Drive, Crown Point, IN 46307.
