Richard Przeniczny - Class Of 1951

OBITUARY FROM FORT WAYNE NEWSPAPERS (ONLINE), NOVEMBER 9, 2013:

RICHARD ALBERT PRZENICZNY, SR., 79, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. Born in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Albert S. Przeniczny Jr. and Mary Catherine (Dzik) Przen-iczny. He graduated from Hobart High School and attended Purdue Extension for two years. Richard married Jacqueline Mae (Mills) Feb. 28, 1954. He served in the 5th Army 22nd Group 79th Missile Battalion 1956 to 1958. He worked as a sales representative with S.C. Johnson Wax before retiring in 1991. He then went to work for Sherry Laboratories until 1997. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Summit City Barber Shop Chorus for 22 years, and was the Baritone of the Last Resort Quartet for 15 years.

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Jacqueline Przeniczny; children, Jean (Ron) McGee, Deborah (Chris) Lapham, Richard Przeniczny Jr., Linda (Terry) Fisher, and Mary Beth (Joe) Albarello; grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie, and Thomas. He was also preceded in death by sister, Patricia Billings.

Service is 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd. with calling one hour prior. Rev. Steven Ahlersmeyer officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.
