OBITUARY FROM GEISEN FUNERAL HOME, MARCH 2009

Peggy A. Paligraf, age 45, born March 13, 1964 in Gary, IN lost her courageous fight for life on March 15, 2009. Peg was preceded in death by her father, Conn Paligraf; maternal grandparents, Joseph & Catherine Mesich; paternal grandparents, Constantine & Anna Paligraf. She is survived by her mother, Lubi Ann Paligraf; sister, Mary Ann (Tom) Ross; very special friend, Janet Schweitzer of Chesterton; aunts and uncle: Mary Uhrin of Hobart, Helen Mesic of Portage, Rose Radas of Cypress, CA, Irene Paligraf and Nick Paligraf both of Monticello, IN; godson, Cody Anderson of Crown Point; devoted pets Aspen & Jackson, Mac & Dewey; many cousins and many friends.

Peg will be missed by all – she was a friend to everyone that she met. Always trying to help someone out or make them laugh. Her family & friends meant everything to her. Peg loved nature & animals, loved to be outdoors. She was a graduate of Hobart High School in 1982 and Indiana State University in 1986. Peg worked for the YMCA in Chicago and presently at the Fitness Pointe in Munster, IN.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, with Rev. Stephen Loncar officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, March 19th from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A vigil service will be held Thursday at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Peg's name to the National Bone Morrow Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or the Hobart Humane Society.
