OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, OCTOBER 16, 2004:

DUSTIN EUGENE OGLESBY Age 23, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2004. He was a lifetime Hobart resident, a member of the Hobart 1st United Methodist Church, and the Hobart High School Class of 2000. Dustin loved playing basketball and loved watching and playing all types of sports.

He is survived by: his mother, Karen (James) Long of Hobart; his father, Phillip Oglesby of Hobart; grandparents, Robert T. and Maxine J. Hutchens of Hobart, William L. Long of Sevierville, TN; 7 siblings, Wade, Britney, and Jakob Oglesby, Jamie, Shelby, Kyle, and Adrian Long all of Hobart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Ruth Oglesby and Joyce Long. Funeral services are Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Larry K. Whitehead and Rev. Michael Goodspeed officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart. Visitation is Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
