OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, JANUARY 31, 2012:

Wyller, Lena L. (nee Popenhagen). Age 75, of LaPorte, formerly of Lake Station and Hobart, passed away on January 29, 2012. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1954, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Westville. Lena was a former employee of Indiana Bell and K-Mart in Portage and LaPorte. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lena Popenhagen, husband, Ronald Wyller and brother, Waldo Popenhagen. She is survived by 3 children Mary Beth (Jeff) Williams of Portage, Eric (Michelle) Wyller of Rolling Prairie, IN and Carolyn Wyller of North Judson; 4 grandchildren Barbara, Zackery, Joshua and Delanie; sister Lois Popenhagen of Valparaiso; sisters-in-law Louise (Ed) Cable and Barbara (Sam) Robison of Lake Station and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart, Rev. Richard Ungrodt officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
