Ronald (Donald) Dunkelbarger - Class Of 1954

OBITUARY FROM TAMPA BAY (FLORIDA) TIMES, JANUARY 8, 2014:

DUNKELBARGER, Donald 78, passed away Jan. 3, 2014, at home in Indian Shores, with his family at his side. Don was born in Valparaiso, IN on June 24, 1935.

He is survived by his wife Judy; his daughter, Trisha (Jay) Brown and children, Porter and Paxton of Beaverton, MI; son, David (Rene) Dunkelbarger and children, Reese and Cole of Evanston, IL; his brother, Keith. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mildred and Oscar Dunkelbarger and his older brother, Bob.

Don graduated from Purdue with a BS degree in chemical engineering. Beyond his European assignments in Germany and Italy with Dow Chemical, Don's lifetime travels took him to six continents. Don loved the outdoors. His greatest joy being with his children and grandchildren. His creative projects endure, including designing, building, and remodeling, the homes of his family.

A celebration of Don's life will be held in Michigan in June. Donations may be made to thehospice.org.
