OBITUARY FROM JOURNAL-REVIEW (CRAWFORDSVILLE, INDIANA), FEBRUARY 29, 2012:

Richard “Dick” Wayne Ehrhardt of Waynetown died at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Williamburg Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. He was 77.

Mr. Ehrhardt retired from the customer service department of RR Donnelley and Sons with 35 years of service. He was a graduate of Hobart High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

He was born April 25, 1934, at Hobart, to Nicholas Carl and Gladys (Crisman) Ehrhardt. He married Carol Jeanne Hallas on June 10, 1955. She died Dec. 10, 1991.

Survivors include: son Rich (Patti) Ehrhardt of Avon; brother Phil (Barb) Ehrhardt of Brownsburg; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 202 Bratton Road, Waynetown, with Jim Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call noon until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
