OBITUARY PROVIDED BY THE MAIR FAMILY TO DON HUMINSKY, AUGUST 2015:

Tom Mair, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at his residence. He was retired from the United States Air Force/Army Aviation Command as a jet engine and helicopter mechanic. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was known to many as the "Clock Doctor."

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, from 4-6 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately in the chapel, with burial in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery, with full military honors. Brandon Rainey will be officiating.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Isabelle Mair. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Louise Mair; children, Michael Barry Mair, Andrew Thomas (Colleen) Mair and Deborah Louise (Robert) Renfro; grandchildren, Alex Mair, Andrew Mair, Stephen Mair, Thomas Renfro, Samuel Renfro and Madison Mair; sister, Janet Mary Scott; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
