OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, NOVEMBER 26, 2013:

Gay M. Snemis, 79, of Hobart, IN passed away November 24, 2013 from a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Gay was preceded in death by her mother, Myrna Schmaltz and father Robert Stafford. She is survived by her sister, Joy Chaszar of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Woody Stafford of Hobart, IN; daughter, Vicki Kutsugeras of Crown Point, IN; son, T. Scott Snemis (Susan) of Chesterton, IN; six grandchildren: Tommy “Tommy T”, Becky “Miss Becka Boo”, Haley “Hay Hay”, Madison “Mimi”, Dane “Lil’ Fellers”, Elena “Lani”, as well as her three great grandchildren: Tommy, Tyler, and Tucker Snemis.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial services. Final arrangements entrusted to the Anatomical Education Program of the Indiana University School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions in her name to be made to: St. Anthony’s Hospice 203 Franciscan Drive Crown Point, IN 46307.
