OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, APRIL 4, 2006:
PATRICIA L. LUKE (nee Loomis) Hobart, Indiana Age 71, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2006. She was a Hobart resident since 1948 coming from Wisconsin. She was a member of the Hobart High School graduating Class of 1952 and a longtime member of Augustana Lutheran Church. Pat worked as a secretary in the Athletic Department for the School City of Hobart, retiring in 1996 after 23 years of service.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Luke of Hobart; 1 son: Walter D. (Osa) Luke of Henderson, NV; 1 brother: Richard "Butch" Loomis of Gilmanton, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby Loomis. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HIEDC and Augustana Lutheran Church Foundation.
Funeral services are Wednesday, April 5, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, with Rev. Charles Strietelmeier officiating. Cremation will follow at Calvary Crematory, Portage. Visitation is Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
