Elizabeth Marshall (nee Harders), age 77, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her home. 

Elizabeth is survived by 2 sons: John Marshall and Paul Marshall; daughter: Anne Marie (John F. Jr.) Kramer; and 4 grandchildren: Sydney and John Kramer and Clayton and Blake Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband: Myron; parents: Wilhelm and Annine Harders; and brother: William J. Harders. 

Elizabeth was currently working as a bookkeeper at her sons business, Midnight Blue Towing, and was former Executive Secretary of the Porter County Plan Commission. She currently was serving on the Porter County Plan Commission and has formerly served on the BZA. Elizabeth was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, IN and was an adored and loving mother who lived life through her children and grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre (2 blks. east of Broadway) at 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN. Interment at Angelcrest Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN. Memorial donations may be given to: Vitas Hospice, 7863 Broadway Ste. 118, Merrillville, IN 46410.
