David Dunn - Class Of 1953

OBITUARY FROM MONTICELLO HERALD-JOURNAL, APRIL 29, 2009:

David L. "Dave" Dunn, 73, Monticello, died at 8:11 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at White County Memorial Hospital. He was born at South Bend on July 21, 1935 to Delbert C. and Irene M. (Papay) Dunn. He married Joyce F. Moss at Lake County on Oct. 8, 1966. She survives.

He was a graduate of Hobart High School. He had lived in the Monticello area since 1999 coming from Lake Station. He was a member of the Monticello American Legion, the Monticello VFW, Monticello Am Vets, and a former member of the Honor Guard. He served as the Senior Vice President of the VFW Post No. 2331, Monticello. He enjoyed volunteering his time at the VFW Post, Monticello whenever he could. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

Other survivors include sons, Patrick (Shelley) Dunn, Monticello and David "Fuzz" (Lynn) Dunn, Crown Point; grandchildren, Nicole, Skylar, Cody, Wylie, Nikki, and Marty; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Calli, Dylan and Cami; special friends, Harvey (Tillie) Shelley, Penny (Frank) Kuba and Brando (Bev) Sproles, all of Monticello and numerous other friends; companions, Rusty and Brutus (Dave's dogs). A brother, Jack D. Dunn is deceased.

No visitation or service at this time.
