Frank Jay Marler - Class Of 1974

OBITUARY FROM THE POST-TRIBUNE, OCTOBER 7, 2010

Frank Jay Marler Hobart, Indiana age 54, a longtime resident of Hobart passed away on Monday, October 4, 2010. He was born on July 3, 1956 in Gary, Indiana the son of Robert and Beverly Marler. Frank was a 1974 graduate of Hobart High School. He was married to Pat Williams on September 5, 1979 in Hobart. Frank was a Supervisor of Industrial Painting for Manta Industrial. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, supporting the White Sox, and taking care of his hummingbirds. His greatest joy was being with his family.

Frank is survived by his loving family; wife Pat Marler, Hobart, daughter Jillian Marler, Hobart, son Clinton Marler, Hobart, sister Dona (Melvin) Howard, Annapolis, MD, mother-in-law Dorsie Williams, Hobart, brother-in-law Roy (Karen) Williams, Valparaiso, sister-in-law Tammy (Dennis) Robison, Hobart, special aunt Dora Fowler, Marion, OH, nieces and nephews; Ryan Howard, Amanda Howard, Eric Yakovetz, Jacob Williams, Alex Williams, Roy Williams III, and Amanda Williams, great nephew Azrael Yakovetz who was considered a grandson, and his wonderful dog Bella, and grand dogs Tobie and Bo, and other loving family and dear friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Roy Williams.

A visitation for Frank Marler will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service for Frank Marler will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 900 Luther Drive, Hobart with Pastor Gary Nagy, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Memorials in Frank's memory may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
