OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, APRIL 25. 2004
William P. Ondrovich, age 62 of LaPorte, IN, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 23, 2004 at home. Bill had been a LaPorte resident for the past 15 years coming from Hobart. He was a member of the Hobart High School graduating class of 1959; a U.S. Army Reservist and Veteran of VietNam. Bill was a construction manager for the School City of Hammond and formerly was a construction manager for Munster and Valparaiso with many years of service. He was a member of the Hobart Masonic Lodge 357 A.&A.M., the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, Tech Engineers Union Local 130 and Gary VFW Post 909.
Survivors are his mother Evelyn M. Ondrovich of Hobart; two sons: Jeffrey Ondrovich of LaPorte and Daniel M. Ondrovich; brother Richard (Marilyn) Ondrovich of Valparaiso; sister Joyce (William) Ondrovich-Pritchard of Panama City Beach, Florida; and munerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William B. Ondrovich in 1999.
Funeral services Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. Burial, Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Masonic Services will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
