OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, DECEMBER 26, 2010

Pruitt, Matthew Paul age 35 of Rockville, Indiana passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010. He was born in Hobart Indiana on March 19, 1975. He was a member of the Hobart High School Class of 1993 and of the Sons of the American Legion Post 502. Matt was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed fishing. He loved his family especially his niece and nephews.

He is survived by his father, Richard D. (DeAnn) Pruitt of Chesterton, IN; mother, Julia Pruitt of AZ; 2 brothers, Jason (Holly) Pruitt of OH; Scott (Rhonda) Pruitt of Hobart, IN; 1 sister, Angie (Terrence) Pruitt of Hobart, IN; grandmother, Elizabeth Pruitt of Hobart, IN; nephews, Beau, Ty and Christopher Pruitt and 1 niece, Amaya Pruitt, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Pruitt and his Grandma and Grandpa Tanner.

Funeral services are Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
