Age 51, of Lafayette, died Thursday March 23, 1995. Born Aug 27, 1943 in Gary, she moved to Lafayette 15 years ago from Avon, In. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1961 and attended Indiana University for three years. She later attended Ivy Tech, where she earned her LPN degree. Prior to moving to Lafayette she worked in the Speedway Library and at Avon Lower Elememtary School, where she was a reading tutor. She was a member of St John Episcopal Church, and the Fort Ouiatenon Chapter of American Business Women. Funeral services were held March 25, 1995 from Hippensteel Chapel, Fr Edward J Tourangeau officiating. Internment followed at Remington Cemetery. Mrs Berry is survived by a daughter, Laura (Don) Lucas of Carmel In; son, Robert R. Berry of Indianapolis; parents, Milton & Darlene Harris Peacock of Renselaer; a sister, Jacque (Dave) Jordan of Salem, In; three granddaughters, Lauren, Christine, & Hailey. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
