Age 60, of Crown Point, passed away Monday March 29, 2004. He is survived by two sons; Eric (Anne) Roberts of Chicago, il., Cayce Roberts of Crown Point; 2 brothers, James Roberts of Tucson Az, & Boyd Roberts of San Antonio, Tx. Preceded in death by his parents, Cayce & Margie (Jackson) Roberts of Newburn, Tn. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 1, 2004 at 6 pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Crown Point. A visitation will be held at the church from 5-6 time of service. Jerry was born April 22, 1943 in Newburn, Tn. He was active in USWA Local 12775 for 20 plus years. He worked for NIPSCO for 39 years prior to his retirement on August 31, 2001.
