David Lahaie - Class Of 1959

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, AUGUST 10, 2012:

David A. Lahaie passed away Sunday afternoon, August 5, 2012. David was born September 20, 1940 in Joliet, IL, the son of Arthur and Helen (Anderson) Lahaie. Years ago, he served honorably with the U.S. Navy. He had been a recent Kalamazoo area resident and had been employed as a Steel Mill Fireman and Steelworker for 25 years before retiring.

David was preceded in death by his parents. On August 6, 1966, he was united in marriage to Dorothy A. (Watkins) Lahaie who survives. Also surviving are two sons: Michael Lahaie of Mattawan and Jeffrey Lahaie of Valparaiso, IN; two grandchildren: Clint and Cody Lahaie; three brothers: Jack Lahaie of Phoenix, AZ, Gene (Joyce) Lahaie of Hobart, IN, and Tony (Susan) Lahaie of Valparaiso, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. A memorial visitation will be held after service until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
