OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, DECEMBER 27, 2007:

Donna M. Redar (nee Mitchell), age 66, of Griffith, IN,lost her courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Thomas; one son Jeff (Karen) Redar of Crown Point; one daughter Kris (fiance Jeffrey Udchitz) Redar also of Crown Point; grandson Matthew Redar; three devoted canine friends: Nikki, Max and Casey; her sister Beverly Braun and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Emma Mitchell; step-father Harold Mitchell and her sister Joyce Wasy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2007 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks S. of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 28, 2007 from 3-7 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.

Donna was a former employee of Harrigan Realty in Hobart and also CTS in Griffith, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Donna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
