OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, APRIL 3, 2014:

Sharon Irene (Sowles) Kline, age 54, of Sturgis, MI passed away Sunday morning, March 30, 2014 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born February 7, 1960 in Gary, IN, daughter of the late Ray and Dorothy (Crowe) Sowles. Sharon spent the last 20 years in Sturgis where she was a friendly and familiar face in the community and a beloved friend. Many will remember her from her 10 years working at Century Bank & Trust in Sturgis. She was a graduate of Hobart High School in Hobart, Indiana with the class of 1978. On August 20, 1999, Sharon married Gary E. Kline in Sturgis. She was an avid NASCAR fan, her favorite driver being #24 Jeff Gordon. Sharon enjoyed fishing, spoiling her three beagles, and spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren she so dearly loved.

Sharon is survived by her loving and dedicated husband, Gary; two sons: Danny Silich, Jr. of Sturgis, MI and Adam Silich of Hobart, IN; one daughter, Jennifer Silich of Dallas, TX; and three grandchildren: Madyson, Lily, and Adam, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Ray Sowles, Jr. and Garry Sowles; and her beloved beagle, Kosmo.

In accordance with Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate and remember the life of Sharon I. Kline will be held from 2:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Rosser Hall, 1421 W. 37th Ave., in Hobart. The Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa Street, Sturgis, MI 49091, (269) 651-2331 is entrusted with the arrangements.
