James (Jim) Campbell - Class Of 1955

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES:

James R. Campbell, 57, a Hobart resident for many years, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 1994. Jim was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1955 and was an employee of U.S. Steel, Sheet & Tin Mill Division.

Preceded in death by his father, Oscar T. Campbell. Survived by his mother, Mildred Campbell (James) O'Malley of Sarasota, Florida; three sons, James Campbell of Washington D.C., Jeffery (Kathy) Campbell of Schererville and Ryan Campbell of Merrillville; one daughter, Laura (Joseph) Estes of Arkansas; two brothers, Leroy (Helen) Campbell of San Pierre, Indiana and Tom Campbell of Indianapolis; two sisters, Sharon (Mick) Zimney of Michigan City, Indiana and Kim Galler of Hobart; fiancee, Beverly J. Dukich of Hobart; also, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services Friday, October 14, 1994, 9:30 a.m. from the Burns Funeral Home (Hobart), corner of Rt 51 & 7th Street, to St. Bridget Church in Hobart for a Funeral Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. with Rev. David G. Nowak officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends may call at the Burns Funeral Home (Hobart) on Thursday 2 to 8 p.m. Prayer service Thursday at 7 p.m.
