Rose Kisela (Pinkerton Hentschel) - Class Of 1927

OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, DECEMBER 6, 2006:

ROSE PINKERTON HENTSCHEL (nee KISELA) Hobart, Indiana Age 98, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Millers Merry Manor in Portage. Rose was born October 27, 1908 in the Kisela Woods section of Hobart to Frank & Barbara Kisela who preceded her in death. She was a lifelong resident of Hobart and a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1927. Rose was a member of the First Christian Church of Hobart from the age of 16 and retired as a receptionist with over 20 years of service from Lake George Medical Center.

Also preceding her in death, were her husbands, Russell E. Pinkerton and Carl Hentschel, brothers, Frank, Charles & Edward Kisela, sisters, Ann Smith and Mary Groom. Rose is survived by her son, Russell D. (Judy) Pinkerton of Indianapolis; daughters, Ruth A. (Freddie) Crawford of Hobart; 4 grandchildren: Christopher (Sherri) Edwards and Kathryn Edwards, both of Hobart, Laura Pinkerton (Rich Burwell) of Westfield, IN, Sarah (Gregory) Conner of Avon, IN; great granddaughter, Stefanie Jo Edwards of Hobart; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 8, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, with Mr. Steven Campbell, Minister, officiating. Burial will be private at Hobart Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. www/reesfuneralhomes.com
