Barry Martin - Class Of 1972

OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MAY 7, 2004:

BARRY R. MARTIN Age 50, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2004. Barry had been a lifelong Hobart resident and a member of Hobart High School, Class of 1972. He was a former employee of Broadway Methodist and St. Mary Medical Center. Barry enjoyed playing piano keyboard and the drums with local bands in the area. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years in June, Judy; 3 daughters, Amanda (fiance', Bill Granzow II) Martin, Christina Martin, and Mary Beth Martin, all of Hobart; 1 son, Jeremy Martin of Hobart; sister, Donna (Jerry) Evans of Hobart; twin brother, Garry Martin of Lake Station; 3 brothers-in-law George (Ronnie) Cawley of Dorr, Michigan, Tom Cawley and Richard Cawley, both of Hobart;sister-in-law, Kathy (Arley) Tapp of Wheatfield; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Gladys Martin; 2 brothers-in-law, Bill and James Cawley.

Funeral service Saturday, May 8, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. from Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Cremation at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
