Beulah Salter (Rimkus) - Class Of 1944

OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, FEBRUARY 17, 2006:

BEULAH RIMKUS Hobart, Indiana Age 80, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Saint Mary Medical Center. She was a lifelong area resident and was in the Hobart High School Class of 1944. She was retired from Cressmoor Lanes and was a member of Evergreen Memorial Baptist Church, Ladies Classic Bowling League at Cressmoor Lanes where she served as the secretary for 17 years and served on the Board of Directors. She was elected to the Indiana Bowlers Hall of Fame and served as the secretary for the Mike Price All Stars for 17 years.

Beulah is survived by her sons: John (Beverly) Rimkus of Portage and Alan (Becky) Rimkus of CA; daughters: Patti Repko of Hobart and Susan Collins of Hobart; brother: William (Ruth) Salter of Joliet, IL; sister: Florence (Richard) Campbell of Hobart; grandchildren: Ronald (Peggy) Potrebic of Lake Station, Donna (Stacy) Adams of Valparaiso, Steven (Char) McDowell of DeMotte, David (Tina) McDowell of Valparaiso, Richard (Terri) Stephens of Hobart, Jerry (Sonya) McCormack of Portage, Josh McCormack of Hobart, Jamie Repko of Hobart and Michael Repko of Hobart; numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis, daughter, Sandra Robinson, son-in-law, Robert Repko, parents, Charles and Ada Salter.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. G.C. Martin, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart. Visiting hours will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
