OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, NOVEMBER 30, 2010:

Cicillian Sr., Edward J. Age 80, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Ed was a lifelong Hobart resident and retired member of Carpenters Union Local #1005. He was a lifetime member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and member of the Sons of American Legion Hobart Post #54.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carolyn J. 6 children: Jeffrey (Terri) Cicillian of Crown Point, Michael (Vicki) Cicillian, Mark (Michelle) Cicillian, both of Valparaiso, Keith (Jeanne) Cicillian of Hermitage, TN, Martha (Randy) Waddell of Hobart, Julie (Bruce) Sowell of Hobart, daughter-in-law, Debbie (Jim) Gorigus, also of Hobart, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, John Cicillian of Ohio, sisters, Maryann Popp of Hobart, Joann (John) Daras of DeMotte, IN, several nieces & nephews. His son, Edward G. Cicillian, Jr. preceded him in death in 1997.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 beginning with 9:30 am and then proceeding to St. Bridget Catholic Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery in Portage, Indiana.
