Velasquez, Christopher Vincent Of Hobart, IN, age 18, passed away in an car accident on May 5, 2013. He was born September 9, 1994 in Gary, IN.

Christopher is survived by his loving mother, Cathy Velasquez; brothers and sisters, Nick (Hanna), Jessica, Daniel and Vanessa Velasquez; loving niece, Haiden Velasquez; loving paternal grandmother, Marina Felizardo; special aunts, Yvette (Angel) Manfredy, Melissa Rivera, Yvette and Patty Valasquez; uncle, Michael Rivera; numerous cousins, friends and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Alberto Velasquez; grandparents, Joe and Nelly Rivera; grandfather, Frank Velasquez; and uncle, Edward Velasquez.

Chris was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 2013, and well-known as a talented barber. Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Main Chapel at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Christopher will be deeply missed by his loving family and precious friends.
