OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES ARCHIVES, DECEMBER 21, 2002

Misty Sue Hunt, age 17, of Hobart, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 as the result of a car accident. Misty was a sophomore at Hobart High School and worked as an aide at the Hobart YMCA. She was active in softball, basketball and track.

She is survived by her father, Bill (Kellie) Hunt and mother, Debra Sue Hunt, all of Hobart; 10 brothers and sisters: Kristie (Don) Hayes of Kentucky, Lisa Hunt of Hobart, Bill, Jr. (Stephanie) Hunt with the U.S. Marine Corps in Missouri, Robin Keller of Hobart, Jean Ann Holland and Jay James Holland, both of Arkansas, Katie Lynn Hunt, Jonathan Hunt, Bruce Hendry and Brittany Stewart, all of Hobart; grandparents, Shirley (Ruben) Yannuzzi of Hobart, Wanda (Mitchell) Law of Lake Station; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are Saturday, December 21, 2002, 12:00 Noon at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN, with Rev. Fred Noe officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Hobart. Visitation is on Friday, December 20, 2002 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
