OBITUARY FROM THE (VALPARAISO) VIDETTE-MESSENGER, MARCH 31, 1975:

Portage-Services for Mrs. Simon (Eileen Margaret) Walters, 48, of 2829 Oakwood Ave., who died at her home Friday, will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Olson and Frum Portage Chapel and 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of Our Savior Church with Rev. Carl Mengeling officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. today and until time of service Tuesday.

Formerly of Hobart and a resident of Portage for 29 years, she was employed by the Portage School System. She was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Church and the Ladies Sadality of the church.

Survivors include her husband, Simon, five daughters, Maureen, Mary and Elizabeth, at home, Mrs. Charles (Kathleen) Heckman and Mrs. Stephen (Linda) Kozlowski; two sons, Simon Robert and Raymond George; three brothers, Richard Schiess of Griffith, George Schiess of Park Forest, Ill and James Schiess of Newport News, Va.; and seven grandchildren.
