Steve Duncan - Class Of 1974

OBITUARY FROM THE NW INDIANA TIMES, MARCH 20, 1997:
 
Steven Allen Duncan, 41, formerly of Chesterton and Hobart, a Lake Station resident passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 18, 1997. A longtime sports photographer, he was a 1974 graduate of Hobart High School and a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Station.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nellie Rans and Amos and Lilly Duncan; one uncle, Earl Duncan and one aunt, Venita Roth; Survivors: parents, Joe kand Fern Duncan of Hobart; two sisters, Diana (Mike) Berdy of Winamac and Debbie (Lupe Mendoza) Hudson of Lake Station; two brothers, Bill (Jan) Duncan and Robert (Lora) Duncan, both of Hobart; one niece, Debbie; four nephews, Michael, Sean, Aaron and godson, Kevin; grandniece Ashley; grandnephew, Michael; special aunt, Wilma (Jack) Cook of Portage; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
Funeral services Friday, March 21, 1997 at 2 p.m. at the Burns Funeral Home, (Hobart), corner of Rt. 51 and 7th Street, Rev.Michael J. Bean officiating. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Friends may call at the Burns Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Calumet Area.
