Mary Jane Sroufek-Draves, long time resident of Gulf Breeze, passed away May 11 at home. She was 72.

Born on September 10, 1947, she was the third child of James F. and Catherine M. McSherry.

She is preceded in death by her father, James F. McSherry Sr., her mother, Catherine (McCarthy) McSherry; and her siblings, James F. McSherry, Jr., Janet (McSherry) Wilson, Sue Ann McSherry and Patrick McSherry.

She is survived by her husband, David Draves; son, Brian Sroufek; daughter, Melissa Sroufek-Cardwell; step-sons, Albert F. Sroufek, IV and Robert Sroufek, beloved grandsons, Nolan Cardwell, Hawk Sroufek, and Adam Sroufek; granddaughter, Haley Sroufek; and beloved sister and brother-in-law, Amy (Dennis) Read. She will be dearly missed by us all, along with many life-long loving friends and extended family.

Visitation will be from 11:00am until the Memorial Service begins at 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.  Fr. John F. Kelly as celebrant.  Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
