Billie Ann Houy (Brown) - Class Of 1945

OBITUARY INFORMATION FROM CHESTERTON TRIBUNE WEBSITE:

Former resident Billie Ann Brown, of South Bend, died Sunday, July 20, 2003 at her home. She was 75.

She was born Sept. 25, 1927 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Daniel and Billie Marie (Hargis) Houy, who preceded her in death.

On May 6, 1951 in Hobart, she married Glenn A. Brown, who preceded her in death in September of 1987. On January 20, 1989 she married Frank Wieczorek, who preceded her in death in April of 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Joann (Rowland) Rose of Elkhart: a son, Scott Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandsons, Jason (Denise) Demeter and Eric Demeter and two great-granddaughters.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jo Marie Reale and Teresa Bembenek.

She was a member of Deer Run Church of Christ.

Funeral services, Rev. David Honeycutt officiating, are scheduled at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Interment will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
