In Memory

Austin Brown - Class Of 2003

OBITUARY FROM MYKEEPER.COM WEBSITE:

Austin (AJ) Brown
December 30th, 1984 - October 15th, 2020
Forever in our hearts.

Biography
On October 16th, the family of Austin Jay (AJ) Brown was notified that he passed away suddenly in Indianapolis. He was a beloved and loving son, father, brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend, and we are so devastated that he is gone. He loved his family, his work as a superintendent at a local construction company, and most of all, his 3 year old son, Aspen Jay. His unparalleled, random, and, for sure, inappropriate humor will be missed by those who knew him. He touched so many lives and we cannot begin to describe the hole that is left in our hearts right now.

We are planning a socially distanced, outdoor, masked-up celebration of life for Austin on Sunday, Nov. 1st. from 2-5pm at Holliday Park, with remarks at 3pm. The Pavilion is located near the playground area. This was one of his favorite parks, where he used to take his son. We will have some pictures and videos of him and it will be an informal opportunity to share your favorite AJ Brown stories! We are keeping the hours a bit longer to spread out the visitors. We want to keep this event as safe as possible while at the same time saying goodbye to someone we loved so much!

Austin Brown Celebration of Life
2pm-5pm, remarks at 3pm
6363 Spring Mill Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260

In lieu of flowers, we are suggesting small contributions to a Go Fund Me account set up by the family: https://gf.me/u/y5dap3. Austin did not leave behind any savings that we know of, so all donations will go toward the cost of funeral arrangements, his son’s future needs, and housing arrangements for his dad, Don, who was living with him at the time of his death.

We also hope that you can continue to share your most cherished memories below. He’s had so many people from all aspects of his life rooting for him over the years and we appreciate you all so much.  We appreciate everyone who has reached out and look forward to seeing the memories posted to this page, which will be saved and shared with his son in the future.
