Imogene A. “Emma Jean” (nee Glynn) Marquart, age 92, of Hobart, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. She was born on November 20, 1923 to the late Joseph and Edith Glynn. On September 30, 1950, she married the love of her life, Ralph M. Marquart. She was a 1941 graduate of Hobart High School. Emma was an avid gardener. Above all, her greatest joy in life was caring for her family. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother.

Emma Jean is survived by her son, Dean Marquart of Hobart; daughter, Barbara Marquart of Hobart; brother in law, Paul (Wanda) Marquart of Valparaiso; and many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Edith Glynn; and beloved husband, Ralph M. Marquart.

Per Emma’s wishes, there will be no attended services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Ralph, at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
