Alice Mae Stevens (Cline) - Class Of 1941

OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, APRIL 16, 2018:
 
Alice Cline (nee Stevens) of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Hobart, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018 at The Village of Westerville Retirement Center in Ohio after a brief illness.
 
Alice is survived by her daughter, Charlice "Chuckie" (Richard) Pope of Ft. Meyers Beach, FL; son, James (Suzan) Cline of Westerville, OH; grandchildren: Patrick Cline, Samantha Cline and Mackenzie Alice Cline; brother-in-law, Leland Cline of DeMotte; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; lifelong friend of 75+ years, Olga Regan; many other dear friends. Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Cline; mother, Mildred Stevens (nee Walker); and brother, Kennith (Betty) Stevens.
 
Alice was a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana. She was a manager at Carson, Pirie Scott for many years and was an industrial worker during WWII. Alice was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1941. She was a member of many clubs, organizations and parishes over her lifetime.
 
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at GEISEN FUNERAL AND CREAMTAION SERVICES, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Tom Shanahan officiating.
