Keith Lee Coons Jr. age 68 of Portage, Indiana passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024. Keith was a graduate of Hobart High School class of 1975. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

Keith is survived by his daughters, Christina Bakker of Griffith, Indiana and Michelle Coons of Lake Station, Indiana. His loving sister Beverly (Garry) Edson of La Porte, Indiana, brother David (Kelly) Clifford of Hobart, Indiana, 2 granddaughters; Summer (Matthew) Vargo of Schererville, Indiana and Paige Bakker of Griffith, Indiana, 2 great granddaughters, Eliza June Grotez and Reyanne Hope Vargo, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma (David) Clifford, father, Keith (Norma) Coons Sr., brother John Clifford, maternal grandmother Vaida Sharpin, paternal grandparents, Clarence (Lorene) Coons.
