Robert L. La Berteaux, 77, died Wednesday, January 28, 1998 at Columbia Putnam Medical Center.
He was a native of Chicago, Ill. and had moved to the Fruitland Area in 1982, coming from California. He was a member and acting treasurer of Lake Lodge No. 72 F&AM in Crescent City and Live Oak Golf and Country Club in Fruitland.
He is survived by his wife, Wilda M. La Berteux of Fruitland; son, Thomas La Berteaux of El Monte, Calif.; daughter, Barbara Mitchell of Pensacola; brothers, Dick La Berteaux of Portland, Ore., Douglas La Berteaux of Apple Valley, Calif., Fred La Berteaux of Charter Oak, Calif. and Jerome La Berteux of Carencro, La.; sister, Alice Stewart of Harbor, Ore.; five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, 6 p.m., at the funeral home chapel.
Clayton Frank and Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
