Kaliroy Petruska (nee Andros) "Yia Yia", passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2004. born September 9, 1924 in Wilders, Indiana to the late Peter and Marie Andros. Retired from Hobart Township Schools with 25 years of service. Also retired from LCAR.

Preceded in death by husband Frank; brother, James Andros and two sisters, Leona Petros and Constance Polites. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Edward) Foster of Crown Point; son, Michael (Theresa) Petruska of Gary; granddaughter, Jennifer Petruska; brothers, William (Helen) Andros of Crown Point, John (Mary) Andros and George (Joyce) Andros both of Merrillville; sister-in-law, Mary S. Andros of Schererville and brother-in-law, Albert Petruska of Lake Station; five step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; cousin, Chris (Pauline) Kalogeras of Chicago, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

A Trisagion Service will be held Friday at 6:00 PM. Funeral services Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 12 Noon from SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 8000 Madison Avenue, Merrillville. Rev. Ted Poteres and Rev. Michael Kouremetis officiating. At rest, Calumet Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her memory to SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Visitation Friday, 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
