Josephine Hurlburt, Age 86, of Hobart, passed awaty Sunday, September 29, 2002. Josephine had been a resident of Chicagolad hristian Vllage for teh past 2 years, formerly a lifelong Hobart resident. Josephine attended Four Seasons UNited Methiodist Churtch and former member of Ainsworth Deep River Fire Department Auxillery.

Josephine is survive by her daughter, Shirley (Harold) Crowder, of Hobart; brother, Raymond (Fran) Goff of Massachussetts; sister, Clara Swartzlander of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Gary (Debbie) Crowder, Jerry (Linda0 Crowder, Pam Ferguson, Kathi (Jesse) Garland; 6 great-grandchildren, Brandi and Lauren Crowder, Heather and Katie Crowder, Michael Ferguson, Blake Garland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Emery in 1990, two sisters, Juanita Faulkner and Mary Jane Eaton.

Memorial contributions may be made to teh Chicagoland Christian Village or Four Seasons UNited Methodist Church. Funeral services Thursday, October 3, 2002, 10 am from Rees Funeral Home, 600 Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Rev Chris D Nunley, officiating. Burial Calumet Park cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-5 pm and 7-9 p, at Rees Funeral Home Hobart Chapel.
