Mr. Richard Alan Bucher, 41, died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday in LaPorte Hospital. Mr. Bucher was born November 12, 1965, in Gary, to Harry and Peggy (French) Bucher. He had worked for National Can Company as a maintainer in Valparaiso, IN. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, with Rev. Doug Hadley officiating. There is no visitation. Essling Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
