Robert “Bob” P. Gunter, age 56, of Crown Point, went to his final resting place on May 21, 2023. He worked in the local carpenters union, was very passionate about construction and willing to help others needing help building or remodeling their homes. Bob loved the life of hunting and fishing and taking camping trips with his family and friends during his free time. He also enjoyed his annual Father’s Day fish fry at the Lake County fairgrounds. He will be greatly missed.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents-Robert and Audry Gunter; sisters-Robin Huke, Lisa Sundbald. He is survived by his son-Jeremy Gunter; daughter-Jayme Gunter; three grandchildren-Ryland, Marlie and Cain; brother-Vincent Gunter; sisters-Bonnie Gunter and Tracy Garriott; numerous nieces and nephews.
