Jeffrey (Jeff) Vanderplough - Class Of 1984

OBITUARY FROM BURNS FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE:

Jeffrey M. Vanderplough, age 56, passed away October 6th, 2022. He was born on April 19th, 1966 in Gary IN to Jim and Beverly Vanderplough. Jeff grew up in Hobart IN and played football for Hobart High School. He graduated from HHS, Class of 1984. Jeff enjoyed playing and watching sports with his friends and family. He was very fond of the outdoors- boating, camping, and hunting. Fishing was his all-time favorite hobby. Jeff LOVED to fish. He was also a religious man who enjoyed attending church and reading the bible. Jeffrey was a kind-hearted soul that will be missed by many.

Jeff’s caring and generous spirit lives on as he gives the gift of life to people in need through donation of his liver and kidneys. Special thanks to Gift of Hope and Methodist Hospitals Southlake Campus.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents- Jim and Beverly Vanderplough; brothers: James “Jimmy” Vanderplough, Rodney Vanderplough; nephew Luke Neideffer. He is survived by his son Thomas Vanderplough; sister Julie (Randy) Neideffer; uncle Jerry (Debbie) Vanderplough; his nieces: Nicole (Mike) Bilderback, Kelli Vanderplough, Victoria Neideffer, Sydney Neideffer; close family friend Mary Jaroscak; special friend Beth Fulkerson Burney; lifelong friends: Todd Villa, Mike Sutherland.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 11am-2pm at Trinity Lutheran Church’s Fellowship Hall at 891 South Linda Street, Hobart IN 46342 (located behind the church). Burns Funeral Home, Crown Point entrusted with arrangements.www.burnsfuneral.com.
