OBITUARY FROM O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME (NORTH JUDSON, IN) WEBSITE:

Thomas W. Homan, age 73, of San Pierre, Indiana passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on December 25th, 2020.

Tom was raised in Hobart, Indiana by William and Lois Homan. He then joined the Marine Corps where he served his Country as a tank operator in Viet Nam.

Tom married Cynthia Homan (Wells) in 1967 and they raised 2 daughters. He then married Debrah in 1989 and celebrated 31 years of marriage. Tom and Deb spent the remainder of his life enjoying each other, their family, and many activities. Tom had a zest for life. He enjoyed his boat, the “Silver Fox”, the Vegas night life, the quietness of camping, his many faithful dogs, and took most joy in being Papa.

Tom is survived by his wife Debrah, his two daughters, Carrie (Lyndon) Block, and Jennifer Homan. Grandchildren Kaleb Homan, Kailyn Howard, Megan Block, and Logan Block, and one great grandchild, Lainey Block, all of North Judson, IN , and Step Son Shawn Allbritten of Colorado. Also surviving siblings Carol Erny, Jeanne Hollan, William (Tom) Homan, and many nieces and nephews, Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, and brother in laws, Terry Erny and Michael Hollan.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to Covid 19. Memorial contributions can be made to local children’s outreach, Kid’s Closet c/o N. Judson United Methodist Church or to The Shriners International.
