Milo Max Roscoe - Class Of 1967

OBITUARY FROM REES FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE, MARCH 22, 2015:

MILO MAX ROSCOE, age 66, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, while surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1967 and from Valpo Tech in 1972. Milo retired from NIPSCO in 2010 after 38 years of service. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Merrillville. Milo had many interests including being a Ham Radio Operator, gardening, and trains. Most of all he loved the time he spent with his family and grandkids. He will be deeply missed.

Milo is survived by his wife of over 42 years, Marie (nee Parr); 3 children, Michelle (Josh) Cicillian, Melissa Roscoe, and Mitchell (Kelly) Roscoe; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Cicillian, Nathan Roscoe, Lauren Cicillian, Kaitlyn Roscoe and Emily Cicillian; sisters-in-law, Carol (Phil) Sperry, Ruth (Mike) Boseck, Mary Hill, Betty (Tony) Sanchez; cousins, Judy (Steve) Kiraly and Loretta Hoekstra; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and Merlin Roscoe; son, Matthew; in-laws, Barbara and Jerry Parr; and brother-in-law, Troy Hill.

Memorial contributions in Milo’s name may be made to American Heart Association or Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Visitation for Milo will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 5375 Harrison Blvd, Merrillville, with Rev. Carolyn Heider officiating.
