Cynthia Gillis (Sweetser) - Class Of 1963

OBITUARY FROM THE CECIL DAILY (ELKTON, MD), SEPTEMBER 12, 2016:

Cynthia Sweetser, 71, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in Moses Lake, Washington. She lived the last five years in Elkton, MD, where she had many friends. Prior to that she lived several years in St. Petersburg, FL, and in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born in Denver, CO, but moved to Illinois and later Indiana, where she attended Hobart High School.

Cynthia loved cooking, church, cats, family and friends. She is survived by her children: John Watkins, Debbie Cordis and David Watkins; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother James Gillis, sister Nancy Gillis and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service is set for Saturday, Sept. 17, 11 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross in St. Petersburg, FL.
